2023 Mazda 3: Everything You Need to Know

Let’s talk about the 2023 Mazda 3 today, one of the very few cars I still find relevant today. You probably noticed most new vehicles are SUVs, and cars are getting less popular every year. Well, I think there is another way to see the situation. You see, SUVs are more profitable to car manufacturers than cars. However, some manufacturers like Mazda decided to still put effort into making cars good, and the 2023 Mazda3 is the perfect example.
The 2023 Mazda3 remains one of the most affordable cars in its segment, with a starting price of $21,900. However, it doesn’t feel cheap and rubbish, and that is something I admire about the Japanese manufacturer. Even the most basic configuration of any Mazda feels complete, and the Mazda3 is no exception. Of course, there is more if you want more. The 2023 Mazda3 is available in three main models, and each of them offers different packages. If there is one thing, I know for sure the Mazda3 is a lot of car for the money regardless of the version you choose.
Elegant and Sophisticated
Mazda doesn’t have a luxury brand to sustain, which is a good thing because the Japanese manufacturer has a tendency to push the limits on specific aspects of its vehicle. I don’t think the 2023 Mazda 3 could look as good as it looks today if Mazda had a luxury brand under its umbrella. Therefore, the Mazda3 offers a color palette which a richer tint, a more refined finish, and a sense of quality you won’t find anywhere else in this category. Even the driving experience of the Mazda3 makes you feel like you are behind the wheel of a luxury car.
Fun to Drive
The 2023 Mazda3 offers three powertrains starting with the classic 2.0-liter four-cylinder making 155 hp and 150 lb-ft of torque. This engine can be combined with a six-speed manual gearbox or and six-speed automatic gearbox. However, there is only a front-wheel drive configuration possible here. Things get more interesting with the second engine choice. We are talking about a 2.5-liter four-cylinder producing 186 hp and 186 lb-ft of torque. Both options are available for the transmission and the same thing for the drivetrain.
Although it doesn’t have a Mazdaspeed version, the Mazda3 delivers spectacular performances in its ultimate configuration. The Mazda3 GT Turbo is powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder producing 250 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque with premium gas. This is more than most of its competitors. Also, this version comes with all-wheel drive as standard, which makes it even more interesting for a market like ours where road condition is rough for half of the year. The only sad thing about the Mazda3 GT Turbo powertrain is the fact it is only available with a six-speed automatic gearbox. Regardless of which powertrain you select, the 2023 Mazda3 will always be a fun car to drive.
The global opinion wants you to buy an SUV, but what you really want to buy is a car like the 2023 Mazda, which has everything you need to fulfill both your needs and whims.
