As if the new Z06 Chevrolet Corvette wasn’t already special enough, the American manufacturer recently announced there will be a 70th Anniversary Edition package available for the 2023 models, including the regular Corvette. All the way from the C1 to the C8, the Corvette has always been an outstanding performance vehicle but an affordable way to make your way in the sports car world. The Corvette heritage is massive and continuously growing since the car is still in production today. It is an icon, a dream, and certainly one of the most recognizable sports cars in the entire world.

The 70th Anniversary Edition package comes with a lot of goodies, as you can imagine. Unique badging, options combos and paints are offered to you here. The car also looks complete with red accents here and there. Carbon Flash Metallic and White Pearl Metallic Tri-Coat are two exclusive colors you can select with the 70th Anniversary Edition package. Of course, designs will be different for the base Corvette and the recently added Z06 version equipped with this package which makes it even more special.

A Stunning Interior

The C8 Corvette is a gorgeous car from every angle, and it doesn’t stop with the exterior. In fact, the cockpit might be my favorite part of the new Corvette since you feel like you are in a very special car. General Motors did a really good job with designs and material quality, so you feel almost like you are in an exotic Italian car. You can even get GT2 type race seats. The only things missing really are the squeaks and weird noise you get from the fact most Italian supercars are hand-built. Of course, I’m joking a bit here, and don’t get offended if you drive a red Italian sports car because you made it further than me in life, or at least you did it financially. My point here is the Corvette offers an amazing driving experience and an above than average built quality, and all the for the price of a well-equipped pickup truck which literally blows my mind.

A Fast Car

The Chevrolet Corvette currently offers two engines to choose from, and theirs is a lot more to come. However, if you want to celebrate 2023, you will have to choose between a 6.2 or a 5.5-liter V8. Of course, the first option belongs to the regular C8, and even if 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet don’t sound like a lot for an exotic mid-engine supercar, the C8 Corvette is everything but a slow car. It can break the 100 km/h barrier in less than 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of more than 312 km/h. On its side, the Z06 5.5 liters produce a whopping 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. We don’t have final numbers for the Z06 top speed and acceleration, but we know they will be impressive anyway.
