Jaguar F-Pace 2024

The largest of Jaguar's SUVs is now in its ninth year of production in its current form and it hasn't aged a bit. It must be said that its sleek and sophisticated appearance has allowed it to age gracefully. It's also one of the few models that still offers a V8 in its segment. It's among those rare models chosen purely out of passion without much concern for anything else. Jaguar is on the brink of significant changes, especially concerning electrification. Even though the F-Pace remains the brand's best seller, one should expect the model to be replaced by a 100% electric SUV in the coming years. That's why it's important to enjoy the current version.

Among the numerous elements that have allowed the Jaguar F-Pace to stand the test of time are the small updates the model has undergone over the years, especially concerning the interior. Once again this year, the British manufacturer's SUV receives significant improvements in its multimedia system with a configurable digital screen for certain versions.

Range and Pricing

For 2024, the Jaguar F-Pace 2024 lineup essentially comprises three versions. First, there's the F-Pace R Dynamic S P250, which offers a 4-cylinder engine. Next is the R-Dynamic S P400 version with a 6-cylinder engine. Finally, the SVR version reigns at the top of the lineup with a V8 engine. Therefore, the starting price for the British manufacturer's SUV ranges from $71,750 to $110,020. Fortunately, Jaguar is quite reasonable when it comes to the price of options, meaning one can indulge without significantly inflating the bill, which is uncommon for a luxury brand.

R-Dynamic S P250 – $71,750

R-Dynamic S P400 – $81,150

SVR P550 – $110,020

Category and Competition

The Jaguar F-Pace 2024 belongs to the most competitive category in the luxury vehicle segment. Let's say that the luxury compact SUV segment has seen significant expansion in recent years, hosting major players. There's no secret here; what determines the success of one model over another is excess, diversity, and boldness. I won't hide from you that the age of the F-Pace and the brand's reputation for reliability have had a negative impact on sales recently. Nevertheless, the Jaguar F-Pace 2024 remains an excellent vehicle.

Rivals: Acura RDX, Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Audi Q5, BMW X3, BMW X4, Buick Envision, Cadillac XT5, Genesis GV70, Infiniti QX50, Infiniti QX55, JLR Discovery Sport, JLR Evoque, JLR Velar, Lexus NX, Lincoln Corsair, Maserati Grecale, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Porsche Macan, Volvo XC60

Design and Technologies

The age of the Jaguar F-Pace showcases how adept the brand's designers are. Despite nearing a decade in design, it's a vehicle that still blends in seamlessly and turns heads as it passes by. Even though it falls into the compact SUV category, it exudes a commanding presence on the road.

The interior design of the Jaguar F-Pace 2024 has drawn strong inspiration from certain Land Rover and Range Rover models. Ultimately, this is a positive aspect as the finishing quality is significantly superior, and the style is much more appealing to the eye. Fortunately, the British manufacturer's SUV retains its strengths in terms of comfort.

In terms of technology, the Jaguar F-Pace lacks nothing. It's evidently a luxury vehicle striving to offer more than the average. It comes equipped with a superior-quality Meridian audio system as standard, along with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Its 11.4-inch screen is also among the most elegant in the industry.

Performance

As mentioned earlier, the Jaguar F-Pace 2024 offers three mechanical options, starting with a small 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. This engine boasts 247 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. Moving up, there's a 3.0-liter inline-6 engine. It benefits from a mild hybrid system, delivering 395 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque while maintaining an average consumption of 12.1 L/100 km in the city and 9.1 L/100 km on the highway. Finally, there's the powerhouse, the supercharged 5.0-liter V8 found under the hood of the SVR version. Here, you get an impressive 543 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, the V8's sound is highly aggressive. Regardless of the version you choose, you'll have an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard, with all-wheel drive offered across the range.

Weaknesses

The British manufacturer's SUV doesn't have the best reputation for reliability.

Strengths

It ranks among the most comfortable and enjoyable-to-drive SUVs in its category. The performance of the SVR version is breathtaking. It offers a plethora of technologies, and one can sense luxury and prestige in almost all its aspects.

Signature Element

The Jaguar F-Pace is a luxury vehicle rich in emotion.

Closing Statement

It's challenging to predict the future and ascertain whether there will be a second generation for the gasoline-powered F-Pace. Nonetheless, it's an SUV that will have made its mark at Jaguar. If you're seeking a vehicle that will make your journeys more enjoyable and pleasant than your destinations, you won't find anything better.
