Rivian R1S 2022

Rivian is a fairly new American manufacturer that is specialized in the making of electric vehicles. But instead of focusing on sedans and luxury vehicles as Tesla does, Rivian decided to target a totally different market by making practical, affordable, and futuristic-looking vehicles. The first vehicle presented by the new American manufacturer is the R1T which is a pickup truck that can be equipped with a kitchen if you'd like to. This is brilliant and lets me tell you that the region is no joke when it comes to off-roading and truck capabilities in general. That is why I was so excited when the American manufacturer announced they were about to launch a new vehicle, and it was an SUV.

I'll be honest with you. I think R1S and every other name used by Rivian lack substance. I mean, I get it it's going to be easier for some customers to know what's what when there's going to be like six or seven models in the brand. However, I still think that it's better for vehicle identity to get a proper name. Anyways I'm still happy to talk about the R1S since the first couple of units are on their way to be delivered by the American manufacturer to the customers. This is great news at it shows that even in you, manufacturers like Rivian can succeed in the electric vehicle market.

A Cool SUV

With a price tag of $70,000 US, is there really an R1S that isn't exactly cheap. However, it's good-looking, it's practical, and it has a range of about 316 miles which is pretty good. It's also very compatible, it has a good cargo capacity, and it's probably one of the best offroaders out there. When you add up everything, $70,000 doesn't sound like a lot, and I mean it. Of course, it isn't perfect, but you must see this week all more like a toy than anything else. This is a kind of vehicle that the same people that are buying GMC armor are going to buy. This isn't for everybody, but there's a market for it, and Rivian has done it right.

The roof and R1S are able to drive even in three feet plus of water. It has a ground clearance of 14.9 inches which is twice as much as the majority of the SUVs on the market. It can tow up to 7700 pounds, and it's able to reach 60 miles an hour in lasting 3 seconds, which is faster than most supercars on the market right now. I know all these numbers don't go together, but still, it is what it is, and that's why Rivian is so impressive. The Rivian R1S is also the first very futuristic and modern interior. I don't want to see it like this, but it's clearly not as sheep-looking as it is with some vehicle from the competition, if I can say that.

Goodies don't stop there since Rivian really believes in its product. That is why the American manufacturer is offering five years or 60,000-mile warranty on most components of its vehicle. If you're talking about a battery pack and a drive train only, it's even better with a warranty of eight years or 175,000 miles. I mean, if the American manufacturer trusts this product like this, I'm sure you can trust it.

The American manufacturer is only offering two vehicles, the R1T, and the R1S. However, we're expecting the Rivian lineup to grow a lot in the next few years, just seeing how popular The American manufacturer is right now.
