The automobile industry has changed a lot in the past recent years. In fact, automobile is a term that will be lesser and lesser used in the future since every new vehicle on the market is an SUV. I don’t have any problem with that if it is what the consumer is asking for. However, I think some manufacturers pushed it a little too far by removing pretty much all cars from their lineup. Luckily there are some manufacturers out there, such as Kia, that still believes there is a place for automobile on the market.

Of course, Kia is offering much more than just one automobile, and as for the Korean manufacturers, Hyundai and Genesis bring a lot to the table too. However, if I had to pick up one model and one model only, it would be the Stinger. And I would pick it up over most Korean SUV’s as well.

Technologies, power, and design

In my opinion, there are three major ingredients in the making of a great sports sedan. First, it needs to look good and oh boy Kia nailed it on this one. The Stinger is an absolutely gorgeous piece of automobile. It is good-looking from any angle. The Korean sports sedan is as elegant as mean looking and I really like it.

To be really appreciated, a mid-size sedan needs to offer a little more technology than the average car. Usually, manufacturers use this category to test out some stuff and it turns out the Stinger has a lot of techs. It is equipped with one of the best available head-up display. The Stinger is a 10.25-inch multimedia screen, and its system is pretty easy to use which is another very important thing.

Performance is definitely the wild factor here. Some successful sedans use massive V8s, but you won’t find any of this under the hood of the Korean Sedan. The Kia Stinger is powered by a twin-turbo 3.3 liters V6 that produces 368 hp and 376 lb-ft of torque which is more than enough for a car this size. This allows the Stinger to offer a more balanced and refined driving experience. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and benefits from an all-wheel-drive system as standard.

A clever price points

The Kia Stinger isn’t a car you buy because it is affordable. However, with a starting price of $54.010, the Korean Sedan is far less expensive than the most car it directly competes with. You can choose some elements to upgrade your car, but even with a lot of enthusiasm, you will hardly surpass the $60.000 mark. This is why I think the Kia Stinger is the best Korean Sedan and definitely one of the best sedans currently available on the market.
