The automotive industry is constantly evolving, and we have proof with the fourth-generation Bentley Continental GT Speed 2025, which emerges as a hybrid. Indeed, the British manufacturer has finally swapped the W12 engine for a more efficient powertrain.

The grand tourer will now be powered by a 4.0-liter V8 Biturbo engine. This is accompanied by an electric motor, bringing the total power to nearly 771 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, impressive figures, especially for a car whose comfort remains its main characteristic. The new Bentley Continental GT Speed 2025 can achieve 0-100 km/h in less than 3.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 335 km/h.

A New Generation

Don’t be misled by the similarities between the new Continental GT and the previous generation. Bentley has confirmed that the two share only 32% of the same elements. In fact, the first thing that stands out is the new headlights of the British sports car. The brand's designers have opted for a new direction with round headlights crossed by a straight line, giving it a more serious look and definitely more character. If you approach the car, you will see that the headlight design alone deserves a place in the Louvre Museum.

The car's lines have been slightly reworked to give it an even racier silhouette. Bentley also offers new, more aggressive 22-inch wheels and bolder colors than before, such as Tourmaline Green, which was used as the presentation color for the model.

The interior of the new Continental GT Speed 2025 is refined and very luxurious. Bentley is one of the brands that offers the best interior designs in the industry, and its new car honors this tradition. The quality of the finish and attention to detail are astonishing. Music enthusiasts will be pleased to learn that the British sports car features a new 2,200-watt audio system with 18 speakers. As always, the dashboard conceals a 12.3-inch screen behind more classic dials, allowing the car to maintain a timeless look when stationary.

The 4.0-liter V8 engine alone delivers 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, which is already quite impressive. The electric motor adds 188 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, bringing the combined power to 771 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, a power level that places the Bentley Continental GT Speed 2025 among the most exotic cars in the industry. Furthermore, it is also a plug-in hybrid car. It features a battery pack with a capacity of 25.9 kWh, allowing it to store enough energy to offer a range of 81 kilometers in 100% electric mode according to the WLTP method. Of course, this figure will need to be adjusted downward in North America, but it remains impressive nonetheless.

The model is expected to arrive at dealerships later this year for those interested.
