Cadillac CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing 2025: A New Face

02 February 2024 BY Jean-Sébastien Poudrier

Cadillac has just unveiled the 2025 CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing. The improvements are numerous, particularly in terms of design. The sport versions of the American luxury sedan display more character than ever.

There are no changes in the mechanical aspect for the pair of sports sedans. The Cadillac CT5-V is still powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 that produces 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. As for the CT5-V Blackwing, the 6.2-liter V8 with 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque is retained. Importantly, the 6-speed manual transmission is still available for this version, with a 10-speed automatic transmission offered on both versions.

A more distinguished look

As if they weren't already flashy enough, Cadillac has found a way to make the CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing even more eye-catching for 2025 with a new front end. Designers have added some touches to the front bumper with a different finish for each version. New colors have also been added to the formula for 2025.

A carbon fiber package is now available for the CT5-V Blackwing version.

It's inside the American manufacturer's sedan that the most radical transformation has occurred, with a new dashboard that now integrates a curved 33-inch screen. Engineers have also added new features to the sedan's multimedia system, such as Google Assistant and several technologies to measure your performance on the track.

2024 is a special year for Cadillac, especially its performance division, as it celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.

The American manufacturer's sedan has experienced a significant increase in popularity in recent years, proving that there is still room for this type of car in the market.

Production is expected to begin this summer, and the price range of the models is still unknown.
